The exhibition, Surreal World: Another World That Never Intersects, features works by photographer Nishizawa Tasuku taken in various “off-limits” areas that support our daily lives, including infrastructure, science, industry, and energy. Based on the concept of examining Japan’s on-site areas through photography, Nishizawa’s unique perspective of Japanese industrial technology, research, and development uncovers an extraordinary world. The exhibition intentionally lacks captions, allowing visitors to appreciate the works as they are, or to enjoy the “other world” with Nishizawa’s explanatory notes.
