*PRE-ORDER* Project 03: The One About Type

This is a book about type. Perhaps more appropriately, this is a love letter to type. Between these neatly bound pages, you’ll find 25 film poster designs rendered with 25 unique typefaces, each matched to a letter of the alphabet. The typefaces were not chosen at random, as I’m sure you’re wondering. The common denominator? Every selection is entirely free for personal use — and some commercially too.
 
We recommend you reference this compilation — imagined by Rad Shyt Labs designer Brennan Hickey — and apply it to your personal projects and portfolios as you see fit. These faces are expressive. They’re teeming with possibility. And each, in its own distinctive way, has the potential to extract the tone of a film, to appeal to good typography through carefully considered arrangements.
