Looking Forward to Meeting You

What began as a trip to Tokyo to reconnect with old colleagues became a two-week detour chock-full of street photography, architectural compositions and sticker bombing.
 
This exploratory photo essay follows film photographer Scumkun’s Tokyo excursion during the early winter of 2023. Scumkun (Studio Manager Yuuki Kito) had initially traveled to meet Fumio, a close friend and owner of Bunmeisha Printing Co. — one of Japan’s oldest printing companies. During his journey, Scumkun also visited Atelier Gray, an experimental publication studio located in the heart of Shinjuku. “Looking Forward to Meeting You” comprises these stories through exploratory photography.
